This report summarizes the discussions and presentations drawn from the “APEC Tokyo Conference on Quality Infrastructure Investments to Address Environmental Challenges of the Cities in APEC Region.”

The conference highlighted the following objectives: (1) to enhance regional cooperation on Quality Infrastructure Investment (QII) initiatives and policies to address environmental challenges; (2) to share good practices among participating economies on QII to promote climate resilient cities with adaptation and mitigation measures; (3) to conduct capacity building for government officials in infrastructure and planning sectors by visiting Tokyo and its suburbs with QII for climate resilience.

Conference participants included government officials from ministries in charge of infrastructure from 11 economies, international organizations, and Japanese local government and private sector.
