Description
The project Advancing Health Technology Assessment for Sustainable Universal Health Coverage was carried out in the form of a workshop, which took place in September 2024, bringing together participants from APEC member economies to exchange insights on implementing Health Technology Assessment (HTA). Discussions covered impact stories, challenges, opportunities, and avenues for collaboration.
This project report provides an overview of the workshop, summarizing speaker presentations, key discussions, and major findings. It also outlines recommendations for strengthening HTA frameworks, with the goal of ensuring an affordable and sustainable healthcare system while enhancing its capacity to address future health challenges.
