hile the approach of circular economy in manufacturing plays important roles in minimizing the use of resources, cutting waste and reducing carbon emissions, it is a fact that there is still a lack of proper implementation of circular economy across entire manufacturing value chains, remaining a key challenge for economies, business and SMEs in particular. In line with the APEC commitments to sustainable growth and development, and the Bangkok Goals on Bio-Circular-Green Economy (BCG), this project aims to improve capacity of APEC economies in promoting SMEs’ implementation of circular economy through identifying and addressing challenges in implementing circular economy in manufacturing based on sharing information, experiences in enabling a favorable environment to promote the implementation.
