APEC Energy Ministerial Meeting

The 16th APEC Energy Ministerial Meeting brings together ministers to strengthen regional cooperation on energy security and the region's clean energy transition.

Meeting in Beijing, ministers will examine how to expand access to reliable and affordable energy services and strengthen the links between artificial intelligence and energy systems to build more resilient and diversified energy supply chains.

The meeting builds on APEC's collective goals to reduce aggregate energy intensity by 45 percent by 2035 and double the share of modern renewables energy by 2030 across the Asia-Pacific region.
